Trick or Treat
The whole class answers together. Get it right, knock on a door, and fill the pumpkin bucket with candy
Each question has three doors hiding candy, the witch or a golden pumpkin. Can the class reach the target line?

What is Trick or Treat?
Trick or Treat is a free online Chinese game for Halloween. The whole class answers together, and each right answer lets the class pick one of three doors. Behind it might be candy, or the witch who has come to cause trouble, and the goal is to fill the class pumpkin bucket past the target line. You choose the words, and kids practice listening and character recognition together.
In the classroom
Project it on the big screen and have one student come up for each question to tap the answer. When they get it right, let the whole class shout which door to open. There are no teams and no losers, since everyone's candy goes into the same bucket.
At home
Play a round together on a tablet. Your child listens, taps the answer and picks a door when they get it right. Opening the door is the best moment, and the two doors they skipped open too, so kids usually ask to play again.
