What is Classroom Dice?
Classroom Dice is a free online dice roller for teaching. Roll one to four dice with a tap, and switch the faces between numbers (1–6), Chinese characters, or your own custom prompts. Drop in six characters to practise recognition by chance, or six tasks like read aloud, use it in a sentence, or act it out to turn any review into a quick game. The roll total adds up automatically.
In the classroom
Project the dice and roll for turn order, maths warm-ups, or a random task. In Chinese mode, fill the faces with this week's characters and have students read or use whatever comes up. In custom mode, write your own prompts so one roll decides what each student does next.
